PRO-FAMILY POSITION:
I am 100% Pro-Family. I insist on the one man/one woman paradigm for
marriage.
I totally oppose all "Gay"/ Homosexual & Lesbian Rights whatsoever. (What a
mess they made of a great word "Gay" which we used as kids to describe positive,
upbeat, happy attitudes and actions!)
Read George Orwell's "1984" for a sense of how words are misused for
political advantage. (Think: "A woman's Right To Choose." How can one
equate the stark reality of the discarded, dismembered carcass of a murdered,
aborted fetus ... with the imaginary Civil Right of an "Almost-Mom" ... To
Choose to kill her kid.)
Anyhow, back to the homosexual issue: I absolutely believe that private,
consensual, sex acts between adults is none of my business. I approve of "Don't
ask, don't tell".
On the other hand, HOMOSEXUALS & LESBIANS must not be granted any protected
societal status, must not be allowed to "Marry", must not be afforded "Civil
Unions", should not become pastors, AND ESPECIALLY MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO ADOPT or raise kids.
We must also prevent the schools from PROMOTING this deviant life-style (or
indeed ANY form of sexual activity) under the guise of "Teaching
Tolerance" or engaging in "Sex Education" ~ without parental consent. We must
also protect our children from exposure to the perverted entertainment culture which
promotes so much evil, including the Homosex lifestyle, violence as recreational
amusement, and other ethical degradations.
Remember that the existential survival of the Human Race is predicated upon
reproduction of children following normal sexual interaction between a man and a
woman -- and the successful rearing of those individuals into adulthood. Thus,
Homosexuality & Lesbianism are antithetical to human survival. (Which is not to
deny the existence of artistically talented "Gays" in our society.
Let us welcome their cultural contributions, urge them to co-exist peacefully in their
closets, but prevent the spread of their "affliction.")
Moreover, I do not believe for one moment that the predilection for
homosexuality is inherited. (We must forcefully resist this claim since it's
universal adoption would create a "protected class" with all the attendant legal
consequences). Since Homosexuality and Lesbianism are learned behaviors in my
opinion, we need to keep the kids away from these perverts and thus disfavor
homosexual "Families". As an aside, we need to identify The Roman Catholic
priestly "Pedophilia" for exactly what it is: almost 100% HOMOSEXUALITY with
kids! (But the "Drive-By Media" doesn't subscribe to that "Narrative" for
obvious P.C. reasons).
So, will you join me in a pledge to NEVER USE THE WORD "GAY" to describe these
deviants, ever again, in your conversation? Please always "call a spade a
spade": The accurate terms are ... What did I hear you say? ... That's better.
There are a number of other issues I'd like to mention, falling under the
Pro-Family heading: I disapprove of unmarried couples "Living Together". I
believe children should be born to a married man & wife and lovingly but firmly
raised by two opposite sex parents. Boys in particular need their father's
presence (what I call: "Superior Testosterone") to develop normally. I think we
should make divorce
harder to achieve: Fractured families are anathema to normal childhood
development.
I support Home Schooling. (I Did it myself for my son). I believe that kids should be
educated in "Christian School" rather than in the current Public School
environment. I support Charter Schools & School Vouchers. I strongly favor The
Boy Scouts.
I think "mom" should at least attempt to stay home with the kids up through
kindergarten. I am strongly pro-Breast-Feeding. I support reasonable corporal
punishment in the home. Though, by setting firm disciplinary guidelines for my
children, I was able to avoid it in my home. (I was severely whacked by cane on
MY backside as a child AND benefitted from it. If one complained to parents in those days about
being beaten by the teacher - you generally risked getting ANOTHER whacking at
home! The common philosophy in my youth was: "If you can't hear, you must feel!"
~ The backside was a 1950s "Data entry port!" The very LAST time I abused a
woman was when I kicked my mom at about age five years. I got such a beating on
the backside as "The Old Man" gripped my wrist and I ran in circles around him
-- that dad and I both fell to the floor exhausted at the conclusion of the proceeding!
More important: The memory of that moment and the infraction that caused it, has
remained beneficially etched in my mind for over 60 years!)
I am absolutely 100% against Ritalin usage for children and the concept of "ADD/ADHD". (Which is
not to say that Ritalin is bereft of significant CNS actions; nor that mental
focus and concentration are indifferent to one's neuro-chemical milieu.) But, as
this issue commonly presents itself, the important point is that such behavior
problems are mostly due to the breakdown of discipline in the home & schools,
fallout from misuse of electronic media and ethical/cultural decay in America
(including lack of Bible Values). The current U.S.
school system in particular is designed for girls. Boys multitask as a function
of biological survival and require a
different learning paradigm, best supplied by a male-only, "High-Impact"
environment with early morning "Cross Country" runs, cold showers, being thrown
in the river to learn to swim, P.E. throughout the day and heavy sports in the
afternoons. They need uniforms, strict discipline and a Military-Cadet
"Ambience" to develop into honest citizens!
There is much more we could talk about here, but I guess you get the picture
in regard to my "family" philosophy. Oh, and one more point: I paid my kids $100
(one hundred dollars) for every Academic "A" that they brought in the door. (AND ZERO for
all sports achievement or routine chores). Since I was broke at the time, I
issued "Family Money". Being no dummy myself, I put "Mom" on the $500 bill & Dad
on the dollar bill. I used this to teach the children also concepts of banking,
savings and earned interest; and years later I paid out literally thousands of dollars in
"REWARDS" to the family scholars. Finally: in the end it's NOT what
you TELL kids, it's what they SEE. Our Kids grew up with mom and dad working two
jobs AND (sequentially) attending Law-School on the side. That example worked wonders for their
values, aspirations and focus!
