Niceville/Valparaiso, FL Rotarians ~ 15 July 2010

    I want to thank Mr. Bill Readdy for a non-political invitation to address the Niceville-Valparaiso Rotary Club today.

     This was my first visit to a Rotary meeting and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity. They were very hospitable, provided a complimentary lunch and bantered among themselves with various Trumped-Up "Fines" so as to raise funding; and even had a formal "Joke Session."

    I decided to give them a less "Rah-Rah" and more reasoned speech than usual (less politically focused and more analytical, I thought) which they appreciated. I am accustomed to being afforded 2 or 3 minutes to say 'hello' at the various GOP events; but these folks asked me to speak for FIFTEEN MINUTES. This was such an unexpected slot of time that I combined sections of two speeches and went overtime! (So much so, that to get the speech up here on YouTube -- which only accepts 10 minutes per segment, max. -- I had to use my software to cut it into two fragments for upload).  

    I hope you can enjoy the speech (better with earplugs since I had to enhance the sound). Meantime, I'm going to pack for a trip to an event in Palm Beach, Saturday. I hear that Marco cancelled at the last moment!

    Why is Rubio in hiding? I'm thinking of paying a "'Reward' for information leading to his apprehension" and to anyone who brings him to one of my events so we can talk from the same stage! I'll eat him raw!
