Jacksonville C.C./WOKV-TV Hob-Nob ~ 12 August 2010
This was a fabulous event held in the Jacksonville Hyatt on the waterfront.
There were probably a couple thousand voters who passed through and hundreds who
spoke with us!
We noted about 30 candidate tables. Even Charlie Crist had one! Of course,
none of the major candidates appeared in person; and Marco ... well you can
guess. He wasn't there; didn't even have a table!
I met numerous supporters whom we had seen before at the various upstate GOP
events. Many more pledged to vote for me!
I have included a few self-explanatory photos for "flavor". (This was a very
ritzy venue! We decided not to stay there overnight because of the $200 tab
before internet! Days Inn on Jacksonville Beaches was just good enough for Me 'n
Les; Tom Jefferson & "Ollie" our GOP Elephant!)

The Jacksonville waterfront down by the Hyatt
and across from the Crowne Plaza is very picturesque!
 
The Hob-Nob area was beautifully appointed and we had a lovely table as
usual.
No speeches were given today. It was all about saying hello, one-on-one!
Here are our various hand-outs: "Business" cards, Citizen Rule Books
with all the founding documents and a little insert by me in the middle;
Then, below, copies of my recent article on the Constitution & "Marbury v.
Madison".
Also another photocopy handout on our platform.
 
As I mentioned, today was all about "Glad-Handing" the voters and briefly
chatting one-on-one, rather than giving a formal speech.
It all went very well!
