Volusia County Republican Executive Committee H.Q. Opening

~ 31 July 2010

This was a great campaign event in Daytona Beach Saturday morning 7/31/10. We left FWB at about sundown Friday night after the work-week, got into Daytona around 2AM East Coast time and had a very few hours snooze before the alarm summoned us.

It was a bit of a flash-back as I "Came-to" in the front passenger seat, passing The Daytona Spedway & Volusia Shopping Center. (I had lived in nearby Deltona with a prior mother-in-law for a couple months between jobs in 1992). It seemed as though not much had changed!

We were very cordially greeted at the Hob-Nob; again as one of the earliest attendees we got a premium parking slot and (even though we went away to do some quick shopping) were the second group to sign-in! (Thus the second to speak).

I took a lot of photos as usual, but can't share 'em all with you because of a prohibition against showing candidates with the official GOP staff. This also prevents me from mentioning and thanking a fine bunch of patriots who put on one of the best events I've attended to date.
